What kind of Questions should I ask a lawyer?

Published by hugo at 8:25 am under Commentary

Depending on your case, you would like to know if he has had any experience in dealing with similar cases.  How long have they been practicing? What kind of legal problems do they handle? Are most clients individuals or businesses? If you feel more comfortable and think you can communicate your problem effectively in Spanish, then ask him if speaks Spanish? If he has Spanish speaking support, who are those people? Receptionist? Paralegals? You want to make sure that who ever is dealing with your case is working closely with the lawyer and is able to answer any questions.
