Managing your brand: email communications

Your communications through emails are part of your overall brand.

 

If you are receiving and responding to emails from referrals, general inquiries, clients and service providers, respond to all messages within 24 hours. Use specific reference in the subject box and begin with greeting and salutation. Remember that recipients of your reply may be using hand held devices: help them by writing concisely. Don’t use negations lightly: avoid closing with “don’t hesitate to call.” Include your contact information with signature.

 

And remember your abc’s: you should write accurately, briefly and clearly!
